If you live in the US or the UK, this will not strike you as something new, but until a couple of minutes ago I wasn’t aware that Google Maps satellite images now covered most of Europe at the maximum resolution.
Now, I can finally see how my house looks like when seen from space. Neat!
Unfortunately, maps are still missing. Only satellite images are provided, but I guess they will be there soon.
The Satelite maps also kind of work in Australia as well. (If only you could put a street address in)
