I do not think of him as a lunatic, or a psychopath. I think of him as very talented writer, able to capture the quirkier sides of life with beauty and introspection. I have read most all of his published works, and each time I finish one of his publications, I find some renewal in my admiration for his unique writings and reckless abondoned lifestyle. He is not a character most of us will ever encounter, and I am angry at him for taking his life. I believe he either took his own life because death would be his next adventure, or he was suffering. Wherever he is, I hope he suffers no more. Peace to you Dr. Gonzo. You inspire me to be an individual, to never give up myself to any social perceived norms, within reason of course, and I love you for making me laugh so many times so hard outloud!!
